Our App Dumax ELD
The electronic logging device (ELD) rule – congressionally mandated as a part of MAP-21 – is intended to help create a safer work environment for drivers, and make it easier and faster to accurately track, manage, and share records of duty status (RODS) data. An ELD synchronizes with a vehicle engine to automatically record driving time, for easier, more accurate hours of service (HOS) recording.
Our ELD Services
ELD stands for Electronic Logging Device. It is an electronic technology used to automatically record the Hours of Service (HOS) of commercial vehicle drivers.
The ELD is used to electronically monitor and record the time a driver spends operating a commercial vehicle. Its main purpose is to ensure compliance with the Hours of Service regulations set by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) in the United States.
The driver connects the ELD to the vehicle and uses an electronic interface to automatically record the time spent driving, resting, or performing other activities. ELDs usually have a user-friendly interface that allows drivers to make entries and reviews as needed.
